I’m down to my last weekend in L.A. and I thought I would post about a few of the things I did over the past month that I never got around to including in this blog. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences host screenings throughout the summer in the small park adjacent to their building in Hollywood. The screenings are only $5 and you are allowed to bring your own food & wine and there are food trucks in case you want to buy any food. The screenings sell out quickly because space is so limited. I see they are actually sold out for the rest of the summer so this is something to keep in mind for next year (sorry!). Parking is free and easy in the lot next door. Usually some of the cast comes to speak before the films and we got to see the people who helped make AMERICAN GRAFFITI happen. Just don’t bring a knife to cut bread or anything because they will search your bag and make you put it back in the car. http://www.oscars.org/events-exhibitions/outdoors/
AboutI am moving from Los Angeles to San Francisco in a few months and I realized there are so many things I have yet to do in Los Angeles. For the next few months, I will do something new every day and post about it. I plan to things I have been meaning to do like Bob Baker's Marionette Theatre or do things I have always loved one last time like our favorite date night of watching PWG Wrestling and then country line dancing at Cowboy Palace. I hope you enjoy and thanks for reading!
